My Mom and I Fought for Ultimate Control of My Wedding Dress
Long story short: She won, and I'm still not over the drama.
Weddings are, by nature, an emotional cesspool of fantastical
expectations and frenzied reality. Add to that an argument over a
wedding dress (a seven-year saga, actually), a complicated
mother-daughter dynamic, and bad weather and you have all the
ingredients for a perfect storm. Or, in this case, my nuptials.
